My Current Favorite Kitchen Items
Ethan and I recently moved into an RV and with that means downsizing, but also having all that you need. I thought it would be valuable to share my current favorites in the kitchen. Now some of these things aren’t exactly the ones that I have, but they are very similar and have great reviews. If I had to go repurchase everything I have, this is what I would buy!
KitchenAid Stand Mixer
My most used (and most treasured) kitchen product would be my KitchenAid. I couldn’t have a list of my kitchen favorites without this on it. I think it just has to do with baking with my mom growing up and it has the nostalgia of my childhood kitchen, but regardless I love it! There are SO many to choose from. The Hearth & Hand one from Target is beautiful. I chose between that one and the textured, matte black one. I ultimately ended up going with the black because it is a bit more timeless and goes more with my taste but I loved them both!
This Feather Pink one is ADORABLE as well! It feels very retro and classy all at the same time. You can’t go wrong, regardless of which one you choose.

I would highly recommend the cheese grater attachments. We don’t buy shredded cheese because of the added caking agents, so this makes shredding cheese a breeze.
Wooden Utensils

The wooden kitchen utensils are so nice, as well as functional and aesthetically pleasing. This set will give you all you need for almost every task in the kitchen… and you can’t beat the price.
If you look at the four pictured on the right, they have a slender more paddle shape. I don’t know why it is that I like these more, but I prefer these over all my other utensils. ANDD I use them all, there aren’t any that just sit there never getting used, which is a win in and of itself.
Copper Measuring Scoops
These copper measuring cups just shout… adulting. Seriously though how cute and sophisticated are these measuring scoops. I think that when it comes to the things that you use most frequently save up and buy the unique & high quality stuff. This makes for a more elevated, less cluttered system.
That is one of my biggest things when it comes to minimalist style is (buy once, cry once). I don’t know where this saying came from. It just means when you buy the quality item, chances are you will take better care of it an it will last you years to come (it doesn’t always mean expensive, but typically… it is).

Cast Iron Cookware
There are so many great options when it comes to cast iron, it is easily one of my top kitchen favorites. My current favorite pan is a really old one that I found at an antique store while visiting family in Ohio. It’s a little smaller than I wish, but it is a really nice and smooth old pan. It was made by a company that was later bought by Wagner Cast Iron. I just recently found out that they started reproducing replicas of old Wagner and Griswold cast iron products in 2022. Both of these companies were bought by American Culinary Company in 2000. You can learn more about that and buy them here!
Be careful when buying vintage cast iron. Some people use them for craft projects, harmful chemicals, melting down other metals, etc. Just make sure to get quality pieces and test them for that kind of stuff when you buy them. I still recommend buying the old stuff when it comes to buying cast iron than buying new, but if that grosses you out or you want to start fresh. These are a few of my favorites that I would go with!

Stainless Steel Bakeware
I have bought quite a bit of this brands bakeware on Amazon and am really impressed with the quality for the price. They have these smaller “casserole” size dishes with lids that are perfect for making freezer meals. It makes it much easier to store the leftovers in the fridge after. I also love their muffin pan. I just spray it with olive oil before I fill them and they pop right out once they are slightly cooled.

There will be many things added to the list after the wedding I am sure. As of right now though these are my favorites and I think you will enjoy them too! Are you getting married soon? Check out my Top 10 Must Haves for Your Wedding Registry!
